Description
This painting was begun at The Wave in Ashtabula, before Patricia King was going to speak. This painting was still wet when I left and as I was about to put it in the car the paint dripped to the left. My daughter said it's probably supposed to be that way, which I dismissed. Later when I was praying to complete the painting the Lord showed me that this was the horned beast from revelations and the sheep became the foot of Jesus stamping it out. Here are the scriptures:
Rev. 17: 7 But the angel said to me, "Why are you so amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the inhabitants of the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will be amazed when they see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
