Gary, How fortunate for you that you are able to hear music even melodies. Mine is generally one sound or the verve of the annointing the same kind of thing that happens when I'm painting. Thanks Anne, for your comment on my blog. I went to your blog site and read your psalm on "DISCERMENT" very good. I have been given many songs from the Lord as well. I know they are from God because I don't compose music at all. I'll just find myself with melody in my head. When I recognise that I've never heard it before, then I know He is giving me another song. This always happens when I'm at rest in Him, I can be doing anything just as long as I'm at rest in Him. When I hear a song I just put together the lyrics as they come and that's pretty much it. I almost always go through a time where I forget what the melody is, but I just ask the Holy Spirit to bring it back and relax. Usually within a few hours or days when I'm at peace it will come back to me. Then I never forget it again. Any way thats how God does it with me, it's good to hear about others who are recieving as well. Keep up the good work, rest in Him. I really like the feel of the piece, very good.
