Artist's Description
This is a composite of roses making a symbolic version of the American Flag. Red roses symbolize love while red and white roses together symbolize unity. This is an entry for the Painters for human rights category #1 which is: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. The american flag in general symbolizes this but is intensified with the roses.
